The Gulf
Cooperation Council (GCC) is a body created in
response to the out breach of the Iran-Iraq war.
The GCC aims to coordinate resistance to outside
intervention in the Gulf and seeks to strengthen
cooperation in areas such as agriculture, industry,
investment, security, and trade among its six
members: Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia,
and the United Arab Emirates. There is a shortage
of labor in the GCC. Shortages are in positions
for Information Technology personnel, hospital
staff, engineering, human resources, sales/marketing
staff and hospitality staff. |
